    3. This may be clutching at straws but the publication of the Heywood St Luke's register gives me a Joseph Heywood baptised in exactly one of the years I'm looking for him in - 1784. He is the son of a John Heywood at Taylor-fold. His father's name is the same as he gave his own first son. The trouble is Joseph says he is born in Middleton in both the 51 and 61 censuses. Does anybody know where Taylor fold Heywood was? Was it near Thornham or the Middleton boundary? Could it 'count' as Middleton? All the best to everybody, John
