I have these people from the 1901 census 10 Devereford Street, Middleton. Lancs. (cannot find such a street!) MORAN Edward head 49, Clap officer Ireland, b. Ireland (yes that's what was transcribed!) Isabella wife 46 b. Gateshead, DUR Thomas D Fenwick 20 single clerk shoe manfr. b. Newcastle upon Tyne Isabella dau 15 b. Newcastle pupil teacher Annie dau 13 b. Newcastle James son 11 b. Newcastle Kathleen dau 9 b. Stafford, Walsall Nora dau 6 b. Middleton LANCS Mildred dau 6 b. Middleton LANCS Ed MORAN was Thomas Dodd FENWICK's stepfather, Isabella his mother. Isabella's first marriage was to Thomas Dodd FENWICK a merchant navy captain who died in Lagos Africa in 1880. She had two other children by FENWICK, Minnie and Edith, possibly twins as both born in 1878. I am looking for connections to these FENWICK's as T.D. was the only traceable male surviving FENWICK of this very interesting branch of the Northumbrian FENWICK's. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has these people in their ancestors. Val Roper in Bahrain --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
