Hi Susan I don't have any Royle's in my tree but out of curiosity I wonder if they are related to a Joe Royle from Salford who played a trumpet in the 1950s? Joan Hello, I have Bertha Royle born 1881 in Salford. Married Louis Kemp 10th June 1908 at the Parish Church of Matthias Manchester. At her birth she lived at 65 Broster Street. Bertha's Parents was James Royle c.1855. and Mary Ann ???? He was an overlooker of Cotton weavers at this time. They had other Children (From 1891 census) Edith Royle 1879 Polly Royle Unknown Mary A Royle 1883 Jane Royle 1884 Leonard Royle 1889 Ellis Royle 1890 That is all I have, Would love to know if this rings any bells.
