Would anyone visiting the Rochdale library and having a few spare moments, kindly check for me in the Rochdale street directories for the names of people living at Brown House in the 1920s and 1930s. I believe that Brown House consisted of two homes in the 1930s, and was an isolated building on the moors in the Syke area (my childhood memories!).
