Well Mike, You certainly know how to stir things up, don't you! How many lists are you on, and have you done the same to them all? I have enjoyed reading your bits and pieces about "the good old days". I am one of those unfortunate folks who have family from that area but have never been there myself. My mother was born in Chadderton but left when she was about 5 or 6yrs. old and moved to Suffolk. My grandparents had little of their Lancashire accents left by the time I came along and I only met some of the aunts and uncles about twice. I remember being fascinated by the way they talked, even when I didn't understand all they were saying. Anyway, thanks for getting us all going again and thanks also to Doreen who is always there with a helping hand.
