I believe these stories are invaluable to our collections Mike. I certainly will ask mum when I speak to her next. She's an ex St.Gabriels school girl if anyone else is familiar and she married in that church. All our Clayton family worked at mill at one time. The youngest of my Grandmother's sisters is still living and she told us that she worked her first year at the mill for nothing !
