    3. Hi Doreen, I really appreciate this reply, any help is always appreciated. Unfortunately I can't narrow her birth to just one year, only an either/or, which is 1840/41. According to all the records I have for her it could be either. Thank you for your kind offer though. I am fascinated that you say it wasn't usual for Middleton people to be baptised in Manchester, as I had a reply saying just the opposite!! 3. Hi Anne, Is this the family in 1841? HO107/544/9. ED3. 16/24. Rhodes. Middleton. John Wilson. 25. Block Printer. Mary Wilson. 25. Rachal Wilson. 2. Elizabeth Wilson. ?6 mths or 4 mths (hard to read). All born in county. This family is not to be found in Rhodes or Middleton areas in the 1851 census. If they had moved to Manchester, perhaps, the baptism found at the Cathedral is the correct one. Where were they living in 1861? There isn`t a baptism at St Leonards Middleton in 1841 for Elizabeth. Normally, its the marriages that are to be found out of the parish. The baptisms usually take place in the parish where they are living. Doreen. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
