Hi List, My gg-grandfather, William C. BOARDMAN, was born in Lancashire, England, in about 1802. He permanently left the county probably in 1826; however another source indicates later departure, in 1835. Presumably not long before departure, he married a bride of about the same age named Mary, whose maiden surname I do not know. Unfortunately, I also have no information on the part of Lancashire from which this couple came. I would greatly appreciate it if persons with access to Lancashire marriage records would assist me in finding information about the likely couple(s) of this marriage. Thank you very much!
