Looking for William Lee born 1870 who married Annie Faulkner abt 1893. They had two sons Robert born abt 1897 and Norman born abt 1900 .Looking for deaths and marriages of Robert and Norman and also children
Hi everybody, I have a request for out-of-town information. I've just found the remarriage in the 1840s of my gt-gt-gt-granny, showing that she was a Worsley, born in Blackley. Alice Worsley, born 1814, Blackley. Father Peter Worsley, mother probably Sarah (Taylor?). Could anyone with copies please do a look-up to see if Peter & Sarah Worsley, with any family, were still around on the 1841 census and on the 1851 MLFHS transcription of the damaged census. I'm also looking for Robert Worsley, born 1834 Blackley, and his family group in both 1841 and 1851. Blackley in the early 1800s was awash with Worsleys. Has anyone managed to sort them out? Thanks for any help, Dom O'Malley.
Dear Jeff Thankyou very much indeed for the 1871 census information re Samuel Davis. It is much appreciated. Eileen Pullan

Hi Neil I just want to point out that KENYON is an EXTREMELY common name around the Middleton area. I have several Kenyons on two sides of my family tree - mostly unrelated to each other, as far as I can see. I even have some Alice Kenyons - but they are not married to a BLACKBURN. Have managed to look up the newspaper refs for Joan (have sent these direct), but don`t know when I`ll next be at the library for anything else. Hi Joan, If you don`t get any offers - let me know, and I`ll try and do it when I get a chance. I`m only managing to get to Middleton library for an hr or two once a wk at present - and this is for my advice desk. If its quiet, I can grab the film reader for half an hr. I`ve been using this time to photocopy the PRs for the indexing. Doreen.
Thanks Doreen I havent had any offers up to now. I didn't like to ask you as you have been so very good to me and I know you said you were not able to do too much at the moment. If I get any othr offers I will let you know. Thanks again Doreen Cheers Joan > Hi Joan, > > If you don`t get any offers - let me know, and I`ll try and do it when I > get a chance. > I`m only managing to get to Middleton library for an hr or two once a wk > at present - and this is for my advice desk. Hello Doreen, Many thanks for your reply. I would appreciate you having a look at the registers when it is convenient for you. No hurry, this info has been dormant for me for quite a while, so a little longer will not hurt :-)) I have managed to find a JOHN HOWARTH marrying a BETTY CLEGG on the IGI on 24th May 1804 at Middleton by Oldham. I don't know if this a connection or not. Once again many thanks for your offer. Kind Regards Helen
Hello Helen, No sorry, no indexes yet for baptisms 1804 -7. I would offer to look at the registers for you, but I`m not in a position to do so for another month or so. Doreen.
Sorry everyone for that last email, I obviously did something wrong.
