My Great Grandfather was John Battersby born 1842 died at 34 Battersby Street in the Bedford area of Leigh in 1924, aged 82, his Wife Ann died in 1906 aged 67, they had two Daughters Eliza Battersby, my Grandmother and Harriet Battersby.
