El;len Mather (bc 1812 Lowton) married Joseph Talbot (bc 1818 Lowton) 2 Septermber 1839 at Winwick PC. They had children - William, Wilmot, Betty (m Peter Hindley), Joseph, Simeon, and Mary (m William Yates and died 1901) Ellen stated at marriage her Father's name was Thomas. As she died c 1869 she must have been born c1812. (Jospeh died in 1863 aged 45, so was bc1818 - a minor at his marriage) I do not know which Mather family unit of which Thomas was the head that Ellen belonged to.
