Hello List, This is my first time here and I would like to put forward the branch of my family who lived in the WESTHOUGHTON area. THOMAS WELCH born 1836 Brinscall, Lancashire, lived with wife ELIZABETH nee BARNES born 1839 Accrington, in 103-105 LEIGH RD., WESTHOUGHTON. Thomas operated a calico Printworks at Green Vale, Westhoughton and had offices in 33 Mosley St. Manchester. Children: ELLEN ALICE WELCH and ANNIE BARNES WELCH. They were still living there in 1901 and the company THOMAS WELCH & Co. was still listed in 1929. Would anyone have any listings e.g. MI's which may give me a lead as to their burial place? It may be the case Thomas died in 1901 in Leek, whilst visiting his daughter, ANNIE BARNES WARDLE. However, I can't find them. Any help would be very much appreciated. Regards, Robyn Clarke Australia
