Guys, I don't mean to be the big ogre of a listowner, but can we refrain from the Bolton listings? I am not being picky, there is, I believe a valid reason for not having Bolton as part of our list. Bolton, although only 8-10 miles north of Leigh, is much larger population wise. If we allow Bolton and Wigan into our list we could end up being swamped with these requests and our town of Leigh and its surrounding villages cut out completely. A little similar to 1974. I would suggest that if someone needs/wants a list for these areas then set a list up. They are very easy to monitor, at least this one is (thanks to all of you). Please don't take offence to my posting, I just don't want our list to be overtaken by outside towns. It seems that we are growing nicely and, after all, Bolton (and Wigan) are out of our area coverage. Thanks. DAVE

Dave, I think that I inadvertently started the string on Bolton by asking for help/advise of a fellow list member. Being a newcomer I am not familiar with the rules of these list, other than to pay heed to the listowner. I apologise for my ignorance in thinking that these places were closer together. On a lighter note, I am sure that you know that the "Pie Eaters" have all the Leigh records?
