Pam, I thought about different spellings of Cowyed/Keay Yed but kept it simple for our foreign friends (Yorkshire, etc.). BTW, has it ever been ascertained as a fact that the farmer did actually cut the head off the cow to save his brand new oak gate? Even if it hasn't it's good enough to earn your nickname. Later. DAVE
