    3. Dear Ann Thanks I already have most of my FISHWICKs and GRUNDYs from leigh in 1891 except John GRUNDY... His address on his marriage cert (Leigh church 1842 to Betty GREEN) is given as just Westleigh and his age is twenty something (illegible) and he was a farmer On his son's birth cert(1855), it is given as Atherton, labourer In 1881 I found a John GRUNDY living with a family of PLATTs at 42 Bolton New Road Atherton, aged 57 lodger. The same Mr and Mrs PLATT were witnesses to his son's marriage. the 1901 census has a possible matching John GRUNDY in Leigh workhouse. I would be v grateful for any further info esp a 1891 look up ----- Original Message ----- From: <becket@ihug.com.au> To: <ENG-LAN-LEIGH-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 02, 2003 7:34 AM Subject: [(ENG-LEIGH)] will do 1891 census lookups > Hi, If anyone missed out on having an 1891 census lookup done by other listers > earliers, I will give it a go.
