Hi Pat, If you could do a lookup for me? JEREMIAH ALDRED or JAMES ISHERWOOD. Either or both should be living on Jerry St. in Westleigh. It is thought that Jeremiah owned row houses and a pub on Jerry St. According to the census, between 1881 and 1891 Jeremiah died and his son-in-law James Isherwood was the new owner. Would there be anything in your directory that might shed some light on their business activates? Were row house owners listed as such? Maybe a name for the pub?
