Gill and Thomas, Thanks to the both of you, I now have a little more flesh on the bones, so to speak. Of the stories my Mother told me when she lived in Westleigh 1900-1910, was the weekly trip to the "Market". This was the highlight of the week for the older children. Fresh fish and shellfish was one of staples of their diet. Is it possible that "Fish Lill" would have been selling fish that far back? Its stories like this that really fills out family history..
