I have a Vonley Yates aged 25, gardener, Father Thomas Yates, marrying in Lowton in 1928 an Alice Huxley. Has anybody any information on this couple? In particular I am interested in the groom's first name, Vonley. Has anyone ever struck it before - where does it come from etc?
