Hi everyone. I've just joined this list and am looking forward to hearing about the Leigh area of Lancashire and hopefully getting some help tracing my ancestors. A lot of my "Part" family were born in and around Leigh, some at Astley and some at Atherton. Can any tell me are Astley and Atherton covered within this list or should I look elsewhere? As to my Leigh relatives, would love to connect up with anyone researching "Part" in this area. Also trying to find details of a marriage that took place in 1785 in Leigh - Samuel Part to Ann Richardson. I have hit a brick wall in relation to one of their children who were all born in Atherton. Could anyone do a look up for me on Samuel & Ann with confirming details of their marriage, their individual parishes (could be both from Leigh) and any witnesses to the marriage.
