Hi Leithites. I am researching the Grundy family of Westleigh. Does the following information connect with anyone. William Grundy born 1821, Leigh. In 1847 he Married Ann Hurst.William was a silk Weaver in 1859 but later became a Colliery Labourer. I don't know how many children they had but, there were two sons--- Joseph b.1859, and Abraham b. 1861. Joseph was born in Old Lane, Westleigh. and the family later lived at Taylor Square, Westleigh. If anyone has access to the 1841or 1851 Census, I would be grateful for a look-up. Thanks in anticpation, Regards Mac Shropshire.
