May 1801, St. Joseph's R.C., Leigh Maria Coxshoot, bap. 16 October, Astley Chapel, Astley Daniel's parents are given as William and Martha, but this is thought to be a mistake and that Thomas was indeed his father as the children all have the same sponsors. William is known to have moved to Boothstown later on in life. WHERE WAS THIS FAMILY between the birth of Ann (1776) & Thomas (1787)? There is an 11 year gap and no reference can be found to the family in Liverpool between these dates. It is possible they were in the North of Lancashire at this time but that is only speculation. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CONNECTION WITH THESE COCKSHOOTs? If so I would like to hear from you.
