Hi folks I am hoping to spend a couple of weeks back in Lancashire sometime during your summer. I was thinking of taking a look for family headstones in Atherton Cemetry. Are any of you familiar with the place? If my memory is correct, it is at the side of Leigh Road not too far down from the Punch Bowl. Question is - does anyone know if there are cemetry/grave records and plans which would save a lot of time hunting? I will be looking for various family members who died between about 1895 and 1955.
