I am a new subscriber living in Buckinghamshire researching in Liverpool where all my father`s family came from. However, I have a black and white studio photograph of a great-aunt Mollie ( Mary Agnes BOYLE born in 1904) wearing a theatrical costume which could be of Little Red Riding Hood. She looks about 20 ( give or take). The photo is endorsed "Geo.Lord. St Annes". Mollie was born in Liverpool and brought up there. I would guess that she would not have appeared in an amateur production so far from Liverpool and that perhaps she was on stage in a pantomime in Blackpool as a professional actress. Has anybody who knows about the history of shows in Blackpool any ideas for further researches I could make? I know that a Mary A.BOYLE married a man named FISH in the December quarter 1924 in the Fylde district. I suppose no-one has access to records to show whether the A stands for Agnes? Gerard

You could also try posting on the Topics > Occupations > Theater message board. Hope that helps a little! Best wishes, Lynne
