This was at that time a block of flats. I checked all the Fleetwood streets but did not come across the name Beeby. I note that in an earlier email to the list you stated that you are trying to connect her to a Beeby in Norbreck Road,. this sounds to me like a Bispham address near Blackpool so maybe you need to extend your search to that area. Sorry I wasn't much help. regards Julie
Thank you Julie for responding and for the research into Barrett's Directory. I do appreciate it. The information about the address and the name came from the back of an old "tourist book" on FLEETWOOD, with a date of 1949. In trying to link the Mrs. Beeby, I thought the years would have been more like the late 30's or early 40's. If it was a block of flats in 1934, that is intriguing. I wonder if the building was sold and turned into a Hotel. Do you know of any Business Directory for later years that I could search? Thank you for trying.
