Hi Jacqui - that is so good of you to take the time to help. I grew up near Lancaster, but have no recollection of Fleetwood at all (except catching the Isle of Man boat). The Reynolds are a branch of my husband's family who started at Gt Eccleston and then moved and went into business in Fleetwood. One of the reynolds sons married a girl from Swansea and most of the others seemed to have left Fleetwood and moved to Glamorgan by about 1920, so i don't know if the shop existed longer than that. Many thanks Jackie
Hi Jackie I will have a drive up to Fleetwood some time and take a look, do you have a street number? I have still to do some photographs for others on the list, but this heat wave has kept me indoors. I am hoping that during the school holidays I can "ask" my daughter to drive around and help with the pictures, in case I cannot park directly where the houses are. I am not very good at walking at the moment. For instance, if there are yellow lines or parked cars where I need to be I would be stuck. Do you have any connection with the name Cumsty in Gt Eccleston? Olive
