    3. Rene I actually live on Norbreck Road, so is there any further information for this address. Would this be a boarding house or a private house? Blackpool Library may be able to help, but a lot of electoral rolls for the 1930`s were lost in the Town Hall fire. central.library@blackpool.gov.uk Olive

    3. What a "Small World", Olive. My mother's brother and family (Jim and Clara STARR) built the house in 1932 at 252 Norbreck Road, Little Bispham, next to a school and lived their until the early 50's. Is that the same Norbreck Road where you live? Thank you for the website to the Library. I appreciate your help so much and shall contact them. The address at Bold Street would have been a Hotel/Boarding House in the 30's or 40's. I do not know what it is today. I did go on the website for Fleetwood and the historic pictures there were wonderful and showed BOLD STREET from the Mount Hotel and about 40 other pictures from the late 1800's and early 1900's. The homes appear to be 3 stories with the big bow windows I think they are attached to each other also. My Auntie Clara's mother was "Mrs. Beeby" and my cousins and I were trying to see if there was a connection to that building on Bold Street as there was "family talk" of a Boarding House. This list is fantastic the way everyone helps each other. Thank you again. 3. What a "Small World"! Even smaller, Rene. 250 Norbreck Road was where the headmaster of Norbreck School once lived, when I worked there. So 252 must be next door, which means it is the one next to the School. I wonder if they built both houses as the houses are semi detached. I presume you know this means, two houses adjoining. I do not live far away, if I could walk better, then I could walk there. I will have a ride round in the car and take a look. In the years that you mention such a lot of boarding houses were in operation, most of these are now turned into flats. Olive
