Hi Here are the Notable Events for 1936 and 1937:- 1936 Blackpools Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, commemorating 60 years of incorporation. Great fire. Municipal Offices and Messrs. Boots, Corporation Street, burned down. Fireman killed. (7th October) Air crash at Stanley Park. Isle of Man plane strikes a hangar in dense mist. Pilot and 1 woman passenger killed. 1937 Freedom of Blackpool conferred on Baron Stamp. Celebrations on Coronation of King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth.
