Perhaps, therefore, the recorded family I sent earlier, does not connect. The last known child (Frederick) of this John Melling was born in 1888, leaving a gap of 14 years to Winifred born in 1902! It would be wise therefore to order the birth certificate of Winifred, if you do not already have it. Lostock
