The Edmundson line is the one I have had the most difficulty with; partly because so little is known about them by the surviving family and partly because Edmundson seems to have been a very common name in Fylde. I have asked questions about JTE on this list before, so I'm sure that's where the deja vu came from. I know from his army records that his mother (next of kin) was Elizabeth and this certificate gives an Elizabeth, so it might be him. The problem is, I do not have anything to double check this against. I think I need to look at misspellings such as Edmondson. I have found a J Edmondson born in 1888. I wonder whether that might be the man I'm looking for? Thanks again, Stephen.
