    3. Hi Everyone. My husband originally came from Blackpool. His father Norman (1910-1993 ) had a Grocers/Confectioners shop on Lytham Road - they later moved to Blackburn. His father was William 1884 who was born at St Annes but later lived at Onslow Road At Blackpool and at Wharton. William's father - Thomas had farmed 3 or 4 farms in St Annes and Lytham - such as at Heyhouses, Headroomgate and North Houses. Thomas married into the Cookson family. This particular branch of the Cooksons lived at South Shore (Ellen Cookson born Marton 1847) and her father was James. They lived at South Shore when thomas married ellen in 1868. Anyone know or connected to any of the above. Thanks Pat.

    3. Somehow I seem to have missed this message. 3.11.1845 baptism date for Ellen Cookson at St Paul Marton. Ellen had 8 other siblings and parents were James and Elizabeth nee Parkinson. James is buried at St Cuthbert Lytham. I have lots more information on the Cooksons, but this family are not related to me. However, I still collect information so that I can help others. Olive
