There would still have been time for John FOX's family to have purchased it before John and his family returned to England (actually John was still in England; he hadn't yet gone to America where he married in 1900). I'll be the first to admit I'm clutching at straws, but this family and one of my paternal g. grandfathers are my brick walls!
