Could SKS please do a lookup in the 1901 Eccles census for FOX, John, wife Elizabeth/Bessie (nee ANDREWS), and daughter Betty/Elizabeth (age approx. 1 yr.: [birthdate July 21, 1900]). Possible address: 10 Clarendon Road, Eccles. It's also possible that they are living with his parents (whose given names unfortunately I don't know) at either the Clarendon Road address or another. By the mid 1920s they were definitely living at the Clarendon Road address (by that time a second daughter had joined them), and the house was supposed to have been rather grand; the thought that they might have inherited the home from John's parents has occurred to me.
