Hello Alan Thanks for the message. You have two choices - transcribe for an existing project, or become an organiser for the area of your choice. We have yet to achieve cover for large chunks of Lancashire. An organiser recruits and supervises a team of volunteers to transcribe a county or part of a county. All the support you need is provided including software, microfiche and dedicated mailing lists. Looking forward to hearing from you - and anyone else who feels tempted!
