Hi Listers, Apologies if this has been posted previously The Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society(M&LFHS) in conjunction with the local Registrars are putting the Registrars Index of Birth Marriages and Deaths on-line. When complete the Indexes will eventually cover 1837-1950. So far marriages for Salford (includes Eccles) are on-line for some years. I found one of 'mine' which wasn't listed on the GRO Index.
