    2. Jean Please would you look up BURGESS, ROGERS and PEARSON in the Index for me. I have a 19 page will made by John Burgess of Worsley Mill in 1824 which lists as beneficiaries "Eliza Pearson Isabella Pearson and Mary Pearson the three daughters of Thomas Pearson late of Manchester Cotton Merchant but supposed to have died in parts beyond the seas by Ann or Nancy Rogers otherwise Burgess his late wife deceased " My Great Great Grandmother is Isabella Pearson (born about 1814) Although the Burgesses were Methodists, they would have had to marry in a CofE church, so Eccles is the most likely.
