    3. Hi, May I suggest you take a look at www.salfordonline.com This is a great website covering this area and contains many hundreds of photographs both past and present. It is an INTERACTIVE web site that enables you to add your own entries once you have signed up. EVERYTHING IS FREE and there is a Noticeboard, Find Old Friends, The Way We Were, Memorabillia as well as a fabulous section on Salford in Pictures which includes Eccles and surrounding areas. I suggest you give it a try as I know of others who have found what they were looking for here on this site. Good luck Ian ----- Original Message ----- From: "pkirk" <pkirk@windstead.freeserve.co.uk> To: <ENG-LAN-ECCLES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, September 21, 2002 6:47 AM Subject: [ECCLES] LEE family Clifton > My Husbands grandfather was Ernest Lee, I seem to have found him on the 1901 (although younger than I expected). Could someone with access to the 1891 census please do a look up for him.Ernest was born in Pendlebury the son of Thomas Lee (born Clifton Lancs). Ernest is listed as aged 13 on the 1901 living at 4, Longshaws Buildings Pendlebury. Thomas is on the 1881 census aged 17 living at Thomas St. Clifton with his mother Elizabeth. > Thanks > Judith > > > ==== ENG-LAN-ECCLES Mailing List ==== > Have you used Tree Tops? > The Free FAMILY TREE & WE'LL MEET AGAIN SERVICE > http://freespace.virgin.net/tree.tops > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
