I would be pleased to hear from Wroe and Worthington researchers. I have Samuel Worthington Wroe born 1810 son of Peter Wroe and Alice Worthington. Samuel has about 8 children buried at Barton Weslyan Chapel. He died at Kersal Moor in 1880 aged 70. Peter Wroe was the son of William Wroe, apparently a Silk or Cotton Manufacturer of Eccles. Alice was born to Samuel Worthington, probably a manufacturer too. I would be delighted to know more about the Wroe and Worthington families in 18th century Eccles. Bye for now, Doreen
