Edge Fold lies between Worsley and Walkden (about 2/3 of the way to Walkden) on the West side of Walkden Road. This road was previously known as Shaving Lane. I think up to about 10 or so families would have been listed in censuses of 1861, 1871 as living at Edge Fold.
