    1. [ECCLES] Barton Methodist Indexes
    2. Carol, TreeTops
    3. Hi all, Whilst at Salford Library one year I indexed some Monumental Inscriptions that were there from Barton on Irwell Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. As many of you know there is a plan to build flats and a car park on this site. Perhaps you have an ancestor there and did not know it. Following this message is the index in two parts. The transcriptions are at Salford Library though I do have some of them. As we have since found out there are many more graves that have not been transcribed so this is not a complete index. Has anybody else got any indexes for Eccles that they would like to share with the list, monumental inscriptions, parish records etc. Regards, Carol - List Owner (Tree Tops) FAMILY TREE & WE’LL MEET AGAIN - Free Query Service: SKY NEWS British TV Text Pages 267 & 268, http://freespace.virgin.net/tree.tops/ http://freespace.virgin.net/tt.indexes/ http://freespace.virgin.net/genealogical.collections

    2. Thank you SO much. I really appreciate you looking up a "house"! Please forgive me for imposing upon you again, but should you have the 1891 census would you check on the address in it? There would still have been time for John FOX's family to have purchased it before John and his family returned to England (actually John was still in England; he hadn't yet gone to America where he married in 1900). I'll be the first to admit I'm clutching at straws, but this family and one of my paternal g. grandfathers are my brick walls!
