Hi Anne, I don't know whether this is any help to you but my ancestors who lived in the St. Luke's area were buried in Heaton Cemetery. I don't remember a burial ground in the old St. Luke's churchyard. Yes Valerie, I too was disappointed to learn a few years ago that the St. Luke's records were not to be found in the Bolton Archives. Pat

Overdale has searched the records of Heaton and she is not to be found there. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
