John & Hannah BOOTH, weaver. (Turton) 23 Jun 1775 Jane d. John & Annah BOOTH, weaver. (Turton) 04 Aug 1776 John s. John & Annah BOOTH, weaver. (Turton) 07 Mar 1779 William s. John & Hannah BOOTH, Tottington., weaver. (an LDS patron submission says they are of Entwistle he born abt 1747 and she about 1751) It is possible that my William BOOTH who married Betty WALCH at Bury 19 May 1801, and who died 8 Feb 1947 age 68 is part of the above family. Though I have not yet traced any of the above family to determine what became of them, so if anyone has any links I would be very interested to help prove/disprove my connection. Cheers, Sharon

Hi Sharon, Please look at the previous e-mail where I listed the generations. John S. Booth m. Sarah Scowcroft. They had a daughter Mary Booth b. 10 Aug 1802, Harwood Lee, Bolton, Lancashire, England, d. ? m. 29 May 1822 (presumably in Bolton) to William Entwistle, dates unknown. I am pretty sure we are referring to the correct families here. The coincidence would be too great in my opinion. I have no other information on Mary & William though and I assume they stayed in England. The parents of John S. b. 1773 were Richard & Ann and Richard's father was also John, wife unknown. I DO NOT believe this is the correct John though as the dates don't quite line up but it is possible that your John is a sibling/cousin of my Richard. I have no information on Richard's siblings if there were any?
