Hi Martin, Are these the booklets you mean? http://northturton.com/edgworth/history_society_publications.html cheers, Sharon -----Original Message----- From: Martin Briscoe [mailto:mbriscoe@zetnet.co.uk] Sent: Tuesday, 6 June 2006 7:37 PM To: ENG-LAN-BOLTON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [ENG-LAN-BOLTON] Turton FHS Has any mentioned the Turton FHS on the list. I am not a member but I have quite often come away with one of their booklets when I have stopped off for a walk around the Bolton bookshops on my way North. They always have lots of useful information, much of it concerning Bolton in general. The week I got their latest booklet, Harwood The Early Years. This has pictures of many of the farm buildings around that area and some good maps. I have only seen the booklets in Bolton, they do not seem to be for sale online which is a great pity as I am sure many would find them interesting.
