I am currently researching my GG-Grandfather's family Jesse Kay born Deane by Bolton he married Ann Walker 13 March 1836 also in Deane by Bolton. They had the following children: 1.Margaret b.abt 1837, Halliwell 2.Elizabeth b. 4 June 1839, Great Bolton 3.Mary Ann b.abt 1844, Sharples 4.Joseph b.abt 1847, Sharples 5.Jeffrey William b. 31 January 1852, Sharples Addresses from census: 1841 Rothwells Court, Great Bolton 1851 & 1861 Taylor Row, Sharples 1871 Church Street, Sharples I would love to hear from anyone else researching this family particularly the girls. Do you by chance have the name of Richard Booth or Ann Kay. Ann m. Richard 26 Oct 1742 in Bolton-le-moors Parish, Lancashire, England and had at least one son named John. I know nothing regarding Ann's ancestry and any information you might have would help a great deal. Hi Jan At this stage I have only gone back as far as my GG-Grandfathers birth but haven't yet confirmed this. I am fairly positive his Father was James Kay and his mother Betty ?? Children of James Kay and Betty that I have got through the IGI are as follows: 1.John chr.1795 2.James chr.1798 3.Margaret chr.1801 4.Geoffrey/Jeffrey chr.1803 5.William chr.1805 6.Peter chr.1808 7.Betty chr.1813 8.
