    3. Hi James, I haven't noticed a headstone for John and Elizabeth Ellen BYRON, but as you've visited the churchyard you'll be well aware that doesn't prove there isn't one there. Incidentally though, I'm fairly sure that I have seen headstones for RIDING and / or RIDINGS. Have you tried emailing the church as Anne did? There's a link to an email form at http://www.findachurch.co.uk/temp/sd/sd61/stphalliwell/index.html Even though Anne was unlucky and couldn't get a location, they do have maps probably showing where most of the graves are if you can give them specific details. Failing that I'll certainly keep my eyes open for BYRON, and report back if I find them, but don't hold your breath <grin>. Best wishes, Rgds, Bob Thornley, Bolton From: "James Riding" <james@seamus132.fsnet.co.uk>> > Hi Bob > re your knowledge of St Peters graveyard Halliwell, > I was wondering if in the visits you came across a plot with the names of > John Byron and wife Elizabeth Ellen, they were my grandparents.
