Martin Briscoe Fort William M&LFHS | Gwynedd FHS I have Alfred Brady in the 1841 and 1851 Census with his parents, Daniel and Elizabeth (Betty) Brady. In about 1864 he emigrated to the United States. He had a son left in England named Edwin. Alfred was killed in the 1900 Galveston, Texas hurricane and his brother, Daniel, was settling his estate. He wrote to England trying to find the son, Edwin, which he did. I have no idea when Edwin was born. I was hoping to find Alfred in 1861 with a wife and son, Edwin. Nan

    3. I can't see a Edwin Brady born between 1861 (when Alfred was single) and 1864. Did he refer to the son as "Edwin Brady" or just "Edwin" i.e. could it be an illegitimate son?
