Hi Val, I managed to obtain a photocopy of Folds Road Independent Methodist today, which I will send to you offlist. The article also contains a history of the church, which you will find interesting. This church was assisted by preachers of Independent Methodism from Warrington. In the early days it was quite common for these men to walk from Warrington to Bolton and back, a round trip of some 32 miles, without any remuneration!!
