Tina, there's a website called "boltonchurch.net" which lists and gives details of a number of churches in Bolton. It looks like the nearest to Swan lane is St Paul & Emannuel which is across the main road off Cannon street. In the old-maps website which shows Bolton in about 1850 the Church is called Emannuel.
