Hello Stuart Here is the data we have on Harold Pendlebury at the moment. The numbers and abbreviations are cryptic, but there will be an explanatory text along with the data set. I also have a lot of compensation/insurance data that has been kindly provided by Trevor Griffiths at Edinburgh University. Trevor used Pretoria compensation data and the extensive documented family follow-up reports through the life of the relief funds, for his DPhil (I think it was) thesis on the socio-economic impacts of the disaster. I have not added these data to the individual sheets. We are also recording any details of the men's lives, such as sports involvements and so on. If you have anything to add to Harold Pendlebury's file we would welcome it. MI means we have a record of the inscription on his gravestone, and MI will be linked through to a separate MI data file, which Pam Clarke is preparing. Thank you Peter, I would definitely be interested in the data you have from Trevor. Perhaps you can send it off-list. To fill in a couple of gaps in your data: Harold PENDLEBURY Born 9 Dec 1894 at 674 Hindley Road, Westhoughton In the 1901 census he was living at 73 Manchester Road, Westhoughton I wasn't aware of the 2 youngest siblings Annie and Maggie, that's 2 extra for my tree. Sydney, Harold's brother is my great grandfather. I have records of our family living in 16 Seddon Street from 1932 to 1972. Thanks Stuart I haven't yet received the Pendlebury data. I'll let you have them, though being a young lad he may not have had any personal insurance. A payment of £15 was made from the Lancashire & Cheshire Miners Permanent Relief Society. Regards Peter
