Hi Pete, I think I have solved the problem of the other Betsy Fielding. On the IGI there is a Betsy c. 22.1.1837, Turton to Ellen Fielding. Sue sent you the information for the 1851 Census, and by this time Ellen has married Thomas Booth. It shows Betsy Fielding aged 14 as 'daughter-in-law'. Qtr. 1841 Bolton and on the same page is Ellen Fielding. I have been unable to find Ellen Fielding on the 1841 Census. Thomas Fielding was christened at St. Peter', Bolton, Parents John and Betty.
