Hi Joyce, I have had a look at SS. Peter and Paul's records for the baptism of Mary Alice in 1883. The only one I could find was Maria Gryer born 26.5.1882 c. 4.6.1882, mother Margaret Gryer, 38 Bk. Andrew Street. Godparent Helena Pattinon? I checked 1882 to 1884. The record showed that she married Robert Ingham on 4.7.1908. I found the marriage in St. Patrick's records. 4.7.1908 Robert Ingham, 25 Ormerod Street, father James Ingham and Mariam Grier, 16 Bk. Ormerod Street, father Michael Swift. The witnesses were William Grier and Margaret Ellen Crook. When I was looking at the GRO Index for Patrick Scott, I found some death records. I checked at SS. Peter and Paul's to see if they were there. 18th September, Patrick Scott, parish, 16 months Scarlet Fever. 19th June, 1876 Patrick Scott aged 2, buried 21st June, Cemetery. There was another death for a Patrick Scott in the GRO Index, who died in the September Quarter 1884 Bolton, born 1820. I tried to find this burial, but the records for SS. Peter and Paul's only seemed to go up to 1880.
